If you want to see your credit history, you must check your credit report.
A credit report keeps a record of how you manage credit over many years, and it’s used by lenders when they perform a credit check.
There are many ways to check your credit report in Canada. Fortunately, the major credit bureaus provide free credit reporting services.
How to get a free credit report in Canada
Equifax and TransUnion, the major credit bureaus in Canada, offer a free service that allows you to order a copy of your credit report.
